Itinerary
DAY 1 – SEP 15 (MON) – WINNIPEG / DEPARTURE
Depart from Winnipeg to Lisbon, Portugal via Montreal.
DAY 2 – SEP 16 (TUE) – LISBON
Arrival at Lisbon Airport. Meet our English-speaking Tour Escort and transfer to the city center for a guided tour with a local guide, including visits to Bairro de Alfama, Belém Tower, and Jerónimos Monastery (all external visits). Celebrate a private mass. Enjoy a three-course dinner and overnight stay at Ramada by Wyndham Lisbon.
DAY 3 – SEP 17 (WED) – LISBON / FATIMA
Full breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Fátima. Enjoy a free day for religious activities in Fátima, where Our Lady appeared six times in 1917 to three children—Lúcia, Jacinta, and Francisco. Celebrate a private mass. In the evening, we can participate in the Candlelight Procession. Enjoy a buffet dinner and overnight stay at the Fátima hotel (Estrela de Fátima, Regina, or Hotel Aurea).
DAY 4 – SEP 18 (THU) – FATIMA / AVILA
Full breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Ávila, Spain (495 km). Celebrate a private Mass at the Santa Teresa Convent. Enjoy a three-course dinner and an overnight stay at Palacio de los Velada.
DAY 5 – SEP 19 (FRI) – AVILA / MADRID
Full breakfast at the hotel. Half-day sightseeing tour of Ávila with a local guide, exploring one of the best-preserved walled cities in the world and the home of Saint Teresa of Ávila, including a visit to the Cathedral (entrance included). In the afternoon, transfer to Madrid (110 km). Celebrate a private Mass at Almudena Cathedral. Enjoy a three-course dinner and an overnight stay at the Meliá Castilla Hotel.
DAY 6 – SEP 20 (SAT) – MADRID
Full breakfast at the hotel. Half-day sightseeing tour with a local guide, including visits to the main tourist sites of the Spanish capital, such as Gran Vía, Plaza de España, Viaducto, Plaza Mayor, Plaza de Toros, Plaza de Independencia, Plaza Cibeles, the University, and Paseo de la Castellana. DAY 7 – SEP 21 (SUN) – MADRID / ZARAGOZA / LLEIDA
Full breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Zaragoza (314 km) to visit the Basilica of Our Lady of the Pillar. Celebrate a private Mass. Then, transfer to Lleida (152 km). Enjoy a three-course dinner and an overnight stay at Parador de Lleida.
DAY 8 – SEP 22 (MON) – LLEIDA / BARCELONA
Full breakfast at the hotel. Half-day sightseeing tour of Lleida including a visit to the Monastery of Santa Maria de Vallbona. Transfer to Barcelona (162 km), followed by a visit to the Basilica of Sagrada Familia (entrance included). Celebrate a private Mass. Then, transfer to Hospitalet de Llobregat (9 km). DAY 9 – SEP 23 (TUE) – BARCELONA / LOURDES
Full breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Lourdes, France (428 km). Celebrate a private Mass. Enjoy a three-course dinner at the hotel. In the evening, participate in the Candlelight Procession. Overnight stay at Mercure Lourdes Imperial Hotel.
DAY 10 – SEP 24 (WED) – LOURDES
Full breakfast at the hotel. Spend the day on a guided tour with a local guide, visiting the Basilica of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception, the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary, the Massabielle Grotto (also known as the Apparition Grotto), the Boly Water-Mill (birthplace of Saint Bernadette), and the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes. Enjoy a three-course dinner at the hotel. In the evening, participate in the Candlelight Procession once again. Overnight stay at Mercure Lourdes Imperial Hotel.
DAY 11 – SEP 25 (THU) – LOURDES / PARIS (TGV train)
Packed breakfast. Transfer to the station and board the TGV train from Lourdes to Paris (~800 km). Upon arrival in Paris, enjoy a view of the Eiffel Tower and visit the Chapel of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal. Celebrate a private Mass. Enjoy a three-course dinner at Brasserie Floderer. Overnight stay at Mercure Paris Gare Montparnasse TGV (*Hotel Concorde Montparnasse).
DAY 12 – SEP 26 (FRI) – PARIS
Full breakfast at the hotel. Full-day panoramic city tour with a local guide, including a one-way ride on the Montmartre Funicular. Visit the Place de la Concorde, the Champs-Élysées, The Triump Arch, the Opéra, and the Louvre Museum (external view only). Celebrate a private Mass at Sacre Coeur Basilica. Visit Notre-Dame Cathedral (a UNESCO-listed site, newly reopened after the massive fire on April 15, 2019). Enjoy a three-course dinner at Les Diamantaires. Overnight stay at Mercure Paris Gare Montparnasse TGV (Hotel Concorde Montparnasse).
DAY 13 – SEP 27 (SAT) – PARIS / RETURN
Full breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport. Return back to Canada.
